We are chosen and anointed by God to do good work - it is a privilege to lead others. We desire to grow closer to God and foster a lifestyle of prayer, Bible reading, and worship. We take next steps to grow spiritually so that we can lead our church and others well.
Love People
We honor and submit to authority, understanding its biblical grounding and purpose. We love our team and foster healthy community and accountability that is authentic and encouraging. We exist for others, serving well and carrying our team culture to everyone we meet.
Pursue Excellence
We hold ourselves to a higher standard because of WHO we serve. We pursue excellence in our role on the team and commit to continuing to learn and grow. We choose to live a life of integrity, both publicly and privately, that is consistent with our honor code.

We serve God out of delight rather than duty, and we have fun doing it! We choose joy daily-our attitude reflects who we are as leaders and followers of Christ. We believe that choices lead, and feelings follow. We have an attitude of gratitude.

Worship Teams
New Hope has multiple teams with varying skill levels. If you can play an instrument or sing and are passionate about music and worship, there is a place for you in our family! Our vision is not to just ‘fill a position’ but to provide you with the opportunity to worship God in the way He has gifted you. In other words, our team is never full! If you feel drawn to join us and are able to make rehearsal at 7:15 pm on Wednesday nights, please DO NOT hesitate to reach out. More information on that below! Here are some of the opportunities that are available in a typical week at New Hope:
Choir - If you can sing from sheet music, or would like to learn how, our choir is the place to be! We worship to congregational songs/hymns, intricate choral anthems, and more…
Worship Leaders - If you are comfortable on a microphone and want to take the next step in leading our congregation in worship, this team may be for you!
Band - If you can play drums, piano/keyboard, acoustic or electric guitar, bass, etc, this may be the right fit for you! Our team uses both sheet music and chord charts.
Orchestra - If you play an orchestral instrument, we would love to have you join the team! Some examples of instruments we currently have are French Horn, Trombone, Trumpet, Flute, Tenor/Alto Sax, etc…

Rehearsals: Wednesday nights @ 7:15 pm in the Main Sanctuary & Choir Room.
Sunday Service: Sound Check @ 8:20 am & Service @ 9:30 am.
