February 2, 2025 | "Celebrating Healing of the Mind” | Pastor Vicki Harrison

9:30 AM Service

Summary:

Mental health struggles impact 1 in 4 people, yet many suffer in silence. This week, Pastor Vicki Harrison reminds us that God sees, cares, and walks with us through our darkest valleys. In 1 Kings 19, we see Elijah, a powerful prophet, hit his lowest point—yet God didn’t abandon him. Instead, He met Elijah where he was, cared for him, and gave him what he needed to move forward.

Depression and anxiety are not signs of spiritual weakness. Scripture shows that even the strongest believers wrestled with mental health struggles—including Elijah, David, and Mother Teresa. Healing looks different for everyone, but whether through prayer, support, therapy, or medical help, God provides hope.

No matter what you’re facing, you are not alone. Jesus is present in the darkness, and His grace is enough. Let’s commit to being a church that loves, supports, and stands with those who are struggling.
