Give of My Time, Talents, and Resources

WE conclude our sermon series “Habits of Grace” as we focus on our 6th and final habit: "Give Our Time, Talent, and Resources." This is really important stuff! Just as basic Christian beliefs are vital so are basic Christian practices. Our last affirmation is absolutely essential to fulfill the first five commitments. Without a commitment of my time, talent and resources I won’t be able to Pray Regularly, Worship Frequently, Read My Bible, Serve at and Beyond New Hope, and Connect with others for growth and accountability.

God never intended for us to go through life on our own. He created us to be in right relationship with Him and others, which requires our ongoing commitment and a lot of practice. One of God's key "learning laboratories" available to us at New Hope is Connect Groups for growth and accountability.
Serve at and Beyond New Hope

A disciple of Jesus is a person who freely moves from being a recipient of the church's mission and ministry to being responsible for the mission and ministry of Jesus' church- under the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Our goal at New Hope is for every member to be engaged in mission and ministry. How are you living that out? If you're not, consider this your re-invitation to get in the game.
Read the Bible
June 16th - Pastor Jamie WEstlake
Reading the Bible is the #1 way God grows us into Jesus' disciples. We can't learn about who the triune God is without spending time in the Book that tells us all about Him. Pray that everyone will have a passion and a deep love for God's Word and the God revealed there. Pray for our guests to see Jesus in and through all that we do.
Worship Frequently

By worshiping God frequently we get to offer Him our attention, affection, and abilities. Pray for us to better understand what it means to worship God and why it’s so important to make sure it is a habit of grace in our lives. Pray for our guests to see Jesus in and through all that we do.
Pray regularly - A CONCERT OF PRAYER
June 2nd - Pastor Jamie Westlake
This Sunday, June 2, will be centered on prayer, the first element of the Spiritual Growth Card. We will have what we call a concert of prayer, a mix of prayer and music, focusing on praise, confession, spiritual awakening, and healing.
