Under Pressure - New Sermon Series
Finding Trust In The Midst Of Transitions
It all looks like 2023 is a time of transition in our church. Churches UNDER PRESSURE: One thing we should keep in mind is that, as much as they look alike, transitions are not necessarily tribulations. We easily tend to get stuck in the day-to-day challenges, instead of using them to develop Christian virtues. In other words, we should be very mindful of how we react when we are under pressure.
Paul’s letters in the New Testament contain key teachings that were spiritual vitamins for early Christians who were exposed to pressure coming from different angles. In his letter to the Galatians, Paul summarizes the behaviors we should avoid and the virtues we should nurture in the midst of persecution and opposition. Through this series, we will learn how to be a resilient Body of believers, that goes and grows best under pressure.

We’re turning up the volume at VBS to remind each kid that they can have confidence because of Jesus. When kids begin to see themselves the same way that Jesus sees them, then real confidence begins to take root and grow.
