As we step into a new year, it’s time to align our hearts, minds, and lives with the mission God has given us. Starting January 12, 2025, we’re excited to launch our brand-new sermon series: Mission Ready!

This three-week series is designed to inspire, equip, and challenge you to fully embrace our church’s mission:

• Know Jesus

• Grow Faith

• Go Multiply

Each week, we’ll dive deep into what it means to live as disciples who make disciples. Whether you’re new to faith, looking to grow spiritually, or ready to take bold steps in sharing Jesus with the world, this series will speak directly to your heart.

Series Breakdown

Week 1: Discover – January 12

What does it mean to Know Jesus?
We’ll explore how to discover a relationship with Jesus through prayer, Bible study, and connection with others. But more than that, we’ll uncover the purpose of knowing Him — to share His love with the world.

Week 2: Develop – January 19

How can we Grow Faith?
Building on the foundation of knowing Jesus, we’ll discuss how to deepen our relationship with Him and with others through intentional prayer, discipleship, and a lifestyle of service.

Week 3: Deploy – January 26

Are you ready to Go Multiply?
The final step of discipleship is taking what you’ve learned and sharing it boldly with the world. We’ll explore what it means to step into your mission and live out your faith to impact eternity.

Join Us for a Joyful Christmas Eve at New Hope Church

The holiday season is a time of joy, reflection, and community. At New Hope Church, we warmly invite you to join us as we celebrate the wonder of Christ's birth during our special Christmas Eve services. Whether you are a long-time member or visiting for the first time, there is a place for you here in our church family.

Celebrate With Us In-Person

This Christmas Eve, we are excited to offer two distinct services tailored to meet the needs of our congregation and guests:

• 5:00 PM Family Service: Perfect for families with children, this service will engage hearts with an interactive telling of the Christmas story, festive music, and activities that everyone can enjoy. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to worship together and experience the true joy of Christmas.

• 7:00 PM Traditional Service: Join us for a beautiful, reflective service featuring traditional carols sung by our choir, a candlelight ceremony, and a message of hope. This service is designed to provide a moment of peace and spiritual renewal during the busy holiday season.

New Hope is so blessed to have so many wonderful volunteers who pour their hearts out, now we would like to celebrate you! Stocking the Shelves for Neighbors

Christmas at New Hope – Stocking the Shelves for Hope for Her and ECHO

For the last fifteen years, New Hope has been involved in the Gift of Hope, a partnership between ECHO and area churches to provide food, gifts, and spiritual support to needy families during the Christmas season.  Over the years, fewer churches have participated and the bulk of the work has fallen on a smaller group of churches while need in our community has increased.

This year, our Gift of Hope team, which consists of representatives from ECHO and several North Brandon churches, decided to make a shift.  With less participation and feeling the strain from the two recent hurricanes, the team decided to take a hiatus from Gift of Hope in 2024.  Each participating church will now lean into whatever they feel God calling them to do for this season.  Next year, we hope to come back together with a renewed sense of energy and passion to empower local families during the holiday season.

At New Hope, we feel like the greatest need right now is food. We have families in our community that are feeling the crunch after the storms and the increased cost of food is not helping.  Thus, during November and December, we are stocking the shelves at ECHO and Hope for Her.  Instead of gifts, we will be collecting peanut butter, jelly, pasta, spaghetti sauce, ramen noodles, cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, basic toiletries, and $10 gift cards to help families purchase meat.  Our goal is to literally restock the shelves for our local mission partners who have been feeling to pinch of increased grocery prices and increased need.

6th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

We look forward to seeing you at New Hope's 6th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting! Join us Friday, December 6th, 2024, at 7:30 PM in the New Hope sanctuary for a time of worship, we will then transition outside for the tree lighting. Take a break from the hustle and bustle to discover the true meaning of Christmas.

Enjoy free hot chocolate, cookies, and live music by the Eastern Hillsborough Community Band's Big Band! Let's come together as a community to create lasting memories and celebrate the joy of the season!

Parents Night Out

Fall-themed games, crafts, and snacks!

Drop off your kiddos for an evening of fun!

A night with simple science, games, meeting new friends and so much more.  We want you all to know that when your child is in our program they will be receiving the best care from our staff & volunteers who are trained and background checked.

Can you Believe in God and The Big Bang? David Wilkinson

On August 11, we will have a guest speaker, Dr. David Wilkinson, who has PhDs in both astrophysics and systematic theology. He will speak on reconciling Faith and Science, specifically focusing on God and the Big Bang. Dr. Wilkinson will speak during the 9:30am service and then will be part of a Q&A afterward in the social hall, during which we will gather for great discussion, fellowship, and barbeque!

Backpack Hero Day - Donations Needed

Backpack Hero Day

New Hope has pledged 100 backpacks for the event. Donations can be dropped at the church office Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm or in the lobby of the main sanctuary on Sunday mornings.

The purpose of Backpack Heroes is to create a much larger positive impact on families in our community by consolidating numerous smaller back-to-school events in the East Hillsborough area. This event is geared to provide school-age children with backpacks in time for school and educate parents on the resources available to them in the East Hillsborough community.

Through Backpack Heroes families learn about tools and resources available to them in the community to assist them in their mission to provide and succeed.
