Love Our Neighbors – Supporting Our Cuban Sister Churches

This April, New Hope is highlighting our sister churches in Cuba through our Love Our Neighbors focus. Right now, our brothers and sisters in Cuba are experiencing severe shortages of food, electricity, and medical supplies. While our Cuba missions trip has been postponed (with hopes to reschedule in October), we remain committed to supporting them through prayer, financial gifts, and practical resources.

This April, New Hope is highlighting our sister churches in Cuba through our Love Our Neighbors focus.

We are blessed to have three partner churches:

  • Two in the Granma region (Buey Arriba and Nuevo Yao)

  • One in Santa Cruz del Norte, northeast of Havana

Right now, our brothers and sisters in Cuba are experiencing severe shortages of food, electricity, and medical supplies. While our Cuba missions trip has been postponed (with hopes to reschedule in October), we remain committed to supporting them through prayer, financial gifts, and practical resources.

How You Can Help:

  • Pray for strength, provision, and faithfulness during an incredibly difficult time.

  • Give financially to support the churches and their pastors.

  • Donate non-perishable food, especially powdered milk.

  • Bring medical supplies, such as:

    • Pain relievers

    • Antihistamines

    • Antiseptics

    • First aid supplies

You can drop off donations in the church lobby anytime in April.
Collection Sunday is April 27th.

Thank you for being a church that loves our neighbors—near and far.

Be a Godly Man – A Next Step for Every Man

True biblical manhood isn’t about control or passivity—it’s about leading, protecting, and serving in love.

In this five-week study, Pastor Joby Martin challenges men to step into their God-given calling with courage and conviction.

Men of Valor—What’s Next?

The Men of Valor Conference was powerful—but it was never meant to be a one-day experience. True transformation happens in community, when men challenge and encourage one another to live out their faith every day.

That’s why we’re launching Men’s Small Groups, and we want you to be part of this next step. Whether you attended the conference or not, this is your chance to go deeper, grow stronger, and live boldly as the man God designed you to be.

About the Study: Be a Godly Man

The world has hijacked masculinity, distorting it into something God never intended. True biblical manhood isn’t about control or passivity—it’s about leading, protecting, and serving in love.

In this five-week study, Pastor Joby Martin challenges men to step into their God-given calling with courage and conviction. Together, we’ll explore:

✔️ Where have all the good men gone?
✔️ How to stand firm in faith
✔️ What it means to be strong in the right way
✔️ How to lead with love

If you’ve ever wondered what it really means to be a godly man, this is your chance to find out—and live it out.

Find a Group That Works for You

Groups are meeting throughout the week, so there’s a time that fits your schedule. Can’t find one? Let us know—we’ll help you start another!

Be Strong. Stand Firm. Lead with Love.

God created men with strength, but that strength was meant to be used for others, not against them. When men step into their true calling, families thrive, churches grow, and communities change.

Join us as we become the men God designed us to be—together.

Hope & Healing: You Are Not Alone

Life can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. Whether you’re battling anxiety, addiction, or broken relationships, healing is possible through faith in Jesus Christ. In our Celebrating Healing series, we’re exploring how God restores our minds, hearts, and lives. If you or someone you love is struggling, find encouragement, support, and practical resources to guide you on your healing journey.

Life can feel overwhelming. Maybe you're struggling with anxiety that just won’t go away, an addiction that feels impossible to break, or relationships that seem beyond repair. In those moments, it’s easy to believe you’re alone in your struggle. But the truth is—you’re not.

At New Hope Church, we believe in a God who heals, restores, and brings peace to the broken places in our lives. Through our current sermon series, Celebrating Healing, we’re exploring how God’s healing power touches every part of our lives—our minds, our addictions, and our relationships.

Whether you’re facing challenges personally or walking alongside someone who is, we want you to know that help is available and healing is possible.

📞 Need Immediate Help?

If you or someone you love is facing a mental health crisis, addiction, or emotional struggle, here are confidential, 24/7 resources you can reach out to:

  • Call 211 – The Crisis Line of Tampa Bay offers immediate support for mental health struggles, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention.

🛐 Healing Through Faith

While professional help is essential, we also believe that true, lasting healing comes through faith in Jesus Christ. In Celebrating Healing, we’ve been sharing stories of how God brings peace to anxious hearts, freedom from addiction, and restoration to broken relationships.

If you’ve missed any part of this series or want to revisit a message that speaks to your situation, you can find all the sermons in our Celebrating Healing message archive.

Flip the Flow at Worship Night – February 12

Looking for a midweek reset? Join us for a special Worship Night on Wednesday, February 12, where we’re flipping the flow for a unique evening of connection and praise.

Looking for a midweek reset? Join us for a special Worship Night on Wednesday, February 12, where we’re flipping the flow for a unique evening of connection and praise.

This isn’t your typical worship night. Instead of starting with music, we’ll begin in small groups at 6:30 PM, creating space to connect, reflect, and pray together. Then, at 7:30 PM, we’ll gather in the sanctuary for a powerful time of worship and praise as one unified body.

Why Flip the Flow?

Sometimes, a simple change in rhythm can open new doors for spiritual growth. By starting the night in small groups, we create an intentional space to build relationships and prepare our hearts before moving into worship. It’s a chance to deepen connections—with each other and with God—before lifting our voices together in praise.

Whether you’ve been part of our church family for years or you’re visiting for the first time, this is a perfect opportunity to experience community and worship in a fresh, meaningful way.

Event Details:

  • 📅 When: Wednesday, February 12

  • 6:30 PM – Small Groups

  • 🎶 7:30 PM – Worship in the Sanctuary

  • 7:30 PM Worship: Head to the sanctuary for a powerful time of worship led by our worship team.
