In early 2016, Our New Hope and IMU Nueva Esperanza adopted a new campus formerly known as First United Methodist Church of Dover. It was very challenging for our church but with lots of prayers and discernment, God opened doors and made the impossible possible. Before this campus opportunity opened its doors, our Hispanic congregation was already planting the seed in the Dover community without having the space to congregate. Our leaders would gather in the family’s homes or trailer parks But little did we know this was only the beginning of where God was leading us. After the months passed and the team gathered to speak about a possible adoption, everything fell into place. We now have a New Hope Campus here locally in Dover, FL to call home, to call our Dover Mission. Our Hispanic congregation since has moved all the events on campus and has maintained a stable connection with these families. 

Our current Dover campus holds many events such as:

Back to School programs
Tutoring 
VBS
ESOL Classes
Dinner Church
Small Groups

We are not done yet, there are so many lost people coming to the church. There are so many people in need of God and so much more work to be done. And there is so much more that needs to be done, God is not done with our Dover Mission! There has been a disappointment, struggles, and weariness, but God continues to sustain us. Our prayer for the years to come is that New Hope Dover Campus will continue to make the gospel known in this community and the world through multiplying disciples and churches for the glory of God! God has planted us in Dover with a purpose and we will bloom!
